Posting & deleting stories
A story is one photograph and a few words. It is live for twenty-four hours, and then it is gone.

Posting
Tap the centre button, choose a type, then take a photo or pick one from your library. Add a title and a caption if you want them — both are optional. Post, and it goes live to people nearby immediately.
The three types
- Story— what you’re doing right now.
- Feeling— what’s actually going on.
- Moment — the one that deserves a photo.
They behave identically. The label just sets expectations for whoever sees it, and each is coloured differently in the app.
Twenty-four hours
Every story expires twenty-four hours after posting. While it is live you can see how long is left and how many people liked it. Once it expires it is gone for everyone, including you — there is no archive.
Deleting early
Open your own story and use the delete control. You will be asked to confirm, because it cannot be undone. Any conversation that already started from that story stays open — deleting the story does not delete the chat.
What happens when someone replies
Their reply arrives as a request. Answer it and the chat opens; decline it and they are never told. More on this in how Feelr works.
Common questions
How long does a Feelr story last?
Twenty-four hours. After that it expires automatically and is no longer visible to anyone, including you.
Can I delete a story before it expires?
Yes. Open your own story and use the delete control. It is removed immediately and cannot be recovered.
What is the difference between a Story, a Feeling and a Moment?
A Story is what you're doing right now. A Feeling is what's actually going on. A Moment is the one that deserves a photo. They work identically — the label sets the tone.
